Zoroastrian Prayer: Gathas

We belong to Good Thoughts, Good Words,
Good Deeds -- done and to be done --
Now and henceforth,
We are, accordingly, the praisers
And invokers of all that is good.

Now, the wrongful prevents those, who support righteousness
from promoting the living world, whether of a district or land
It is hard to challenge him because he is hostile in his actions.
However, Wise One, he who opposes him with power and life.
leads the people as a leader along the paths of good plan.
For the living world, with the reward
Of the deeds that are the best, we seek
That peace and habitation be given
To the learning and the not-learning
To the ruling and the not-ruling.

دعای اسلامی: ربنا (دعای ماه رمضان)





براستی در آفرینش آسمانها و زمین و گردش پیاپی شب و روز برای خردمندان نشانه هائی (از توان و تدبیر خدا) است.
همانها که ( درهمه حال) ایستاده و نشسته و برپهلو آرمیده، خدای خود را یاد می کنند و درآفرینش آسمانها و زمین می اندیشند؛ ( و می گویند):
پروردگارا، این (نظام با عظمت) را بیهوده نیافریده ای؛ ترا تقدیس می کنیم، ما را از عذاب آتش (نتیجه عدم انطباق با نظام عالم) بازدار.
پروردگارا، هرکه را (به کیفر رفتارش به آتش افکنی)، براستی رسوایش کرده ای؛ و ستمگران یاوری نخواهند داشت.
پروردگارا، ما ندای آن منادی را که به ایمان فرا می خواند، شنیدیم؛( به ما ابلاغ کرد) به پروردگار خود ایمان آورید. ما ایمان آوردیم.
پروردگارا، گناهان ما بیامرز و بدی های ما را بزدای و ما را در جرگه نیکان بمیران.
پروردگارا، آنچه به وسیله پیامبرانت ما را وعده داده ای، به ما ارزانی دار و در روز رستاخیز رسوایمان نگردان، که یقینا تو خلف وعده نخواهی کرد.

Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure and give us help against those who reject faith. 2:250

Our Lord! Lay not upon us such a burden as You did lay upon those before us. 2:286
Our Lord! Impose not on us that, which we have not the strength to bear, grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Help us against those who deny the truth. 2:286

شاد شوم با شاد کردن، دوست داشته شوم با دوست داشتن
فهمیده شوم با فهمیده شدن
چون با بخشیدن است که دریافت می کنیم، با بخشودن است که بخشوده می شویم
و با درگذشتن از نفس است که در زندگی جاودان متولد می شویم
